Dear art lovers, friends, and Saturday afternoon browsers,
A big hearty thanks is in order for all your support this past year. Our success is due in no small part to the optimism, humour, talent, and good taste of this special community that existed long before we came on the scene. To our unwaveringly supportive families, fellow entrepreneurs, and dear, dear, depedable friends, thank you from the bottom of our tired, incredibly privileged, joy-filled hearts.
Special thanks to Natalie Raponi of Heck Yes! for making us the most incredible birthday cake of all time. Pretty much everyone who tasted your salted caramel and vanilla buttercream work of art made some highly inappropriate, R-rated noises.
We have over 45 local suppliers and partners now, and they've all been just awesome. So we're counting our lucky stars as well as our workshops, because there are 14 of them on the fall roster!! Most are tried and true, some are brand new, and all are a great opportunity to chill with a friend, family member, hot date, or your own fine self, and have fun learning something new and useful.
Coming up on the fall workshop roster: Macramé for Beginners will take your greenery to new heights; and Spoon Carving will impress all your friends with your handy, timeless skills and fancy serving utensils.
For all you small business owners, community leaders, artists, and NGO peeps, our favourite marketing guru Kat Tepylo is back with three different jam-packed but totally accessible social media workshops to help you reach a wider audience.
We've still got all your favourites in store. Lucky Jackson prints, sassy decorative plates, beeswax wraps, and original artworks abound, and as usual, there are new things to check out weekly.
We're jazzed about our ongoing pillow sale and brand new wet/dry bags care of sewing master, screen printer, and quality-fabric-hoarder-on-high Emerance Baker of Stoney Lake Textiles. With the exception of her ever-popular Home is Where Them F*&%kers Ain't pillows, all pillows and cases are 40-50% off. Whooeee!!
We also have tons of brand new shirts from James at Nish Tees. Celebrate PeterboroUGH/Nogojiwanong and the river that beats like heart in style. Lovely new jewels from The Inspired I, tea cup succulents galore, and awesome new letterpress work by Jackson Creek Press are waiting for you.
