As you might have already seen on social media, Erin and I had roughly the same sized tummy the other day, only hers is still growing, and my burrito bump shrank substantially after a highly anticipated trip to the lady's room.

HOORAY!! Shop baby Watson is on the way!! Expect your fall online orders to arrive with a tiny, adorable spot of baby drool.

Other things to celebrate: We've got some lovely summery workshops lined up for you this month.

THIS SATURDAY June 9th, join Erin from 1-4pm for a lesson in Giant Paper Flower Making, and make your birthday, wedding, garden party, baby shower, kid's room, or photo backdrop extra special with these colourful smile-makers. Store and reuse for years to come! Tickets in store and online.

On Monday June 19th from 6-9pm, Manon Ganon (of Mon Amie Manon's felted fame) will walk you through the many was to make cheery needle felted shapes and turn the fruits of your labour into a Felted Fruit Mobile for a special little babe in your life!

We are so excited to welcome local maker Bethanie Kaye to the Watson & Lou family. Her hand carved and wood turned goods are truly beautiful works of art to admire and use in your home for ever and ever.

Not in Peterborough? Never fear. These will be available online in the next few days.

Conveniently, The Bee Spot from Tamworth Ontario landed on our doorstep at about the same time, and their delicious smelling tapers fit Bethanie's candlesticks PERFECTLY. Sometimes stuff just works out :) These scrumptious candles make a lovely, affordable gift for anyone who ever eats dinner at a table, takes a bath, or just likes nice stuff.

Thanks to your feedback, we've expanded our card section to include these colourful gems by Vancouver's Badger & Burke, and they're already on the the website!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our "POP Market" Friday night featuring pop culture and popsicles, and to the Ad Hoc Arts Committee [bookmark this link now for future events!] for pulling off yet another incredible First Friday Art Crawl.
