New Year, New Skills

Dear lovely local art lovers,

First of all, thank you for shopping downtown and supporting local businesses during the holiday madness. You helped us put money in the pockets of some very hard working #ptbomakers and thus helped to fortify our growing creative economy. We hope we helped you to avoid some dreaded mall line-ups, and reduce your consumption of plastic bits from far-flung places.

We are fully recovered from the rush and excited for a new line up of workshops to help you gain awesome, useful skills with great company to fight off the winter blahs, and cross some cool shit off your bucket list!

Upcoming Workshops

Our first stained class workshop sold out in a single day! We're very excited to host artist Jessica Wisniewski of Flux Glass Co. from Orillia Ontario, and we are already planning to have her back. We promise.

We're very excited to welcome Tara Turnbull of Lit Lettering on Sunday January 28th for our first Brush Lettering Workshop! Tara is extremely talented, and can help you master the alphabet all over again, with flair, and send you home with some supplies for practice.

Back by popular demand! Come learn from experts Kat Teplyo and Andrea Moxham and work your Instagram booty! This is a fantastic session for small business owners and non-profits wanting to expand their online reach. Tickets can be purchased here.

Sarah Peers is back February 17th for a Tier-it-Yourself Workshop. Enjoy tea and treats while youdd choose from a GAZILLION gorgeous vintage plates and different hardware options to create your own beautiful tiered dessert tray or jewelry stands.

You asked for it! Another Etsy 101 Workshop. If you've been waiting for the right moment to get your online shop off the ground to sell handmade or vintage goods, this might be the springboard you need.

Also back by popular demand is Heck Yes! with a round of Cactus and Succulent Desert Garden Workshops. Not only will you leave this workshop with a beautiful collection of new plant friends, but you'll also have extensive knowledge on how to keep them alive!
