A fun and educational Summer Activity Book developed and created by the TRACKS Youth Program.
With 16 pages of activities and learning, this book is a fantastic way to integrate some indigenous knowledge, outdoor education, and scientific curiosity into your homeschooling or weekend routines with kids ages 6-12 (although we're in our 20s & 30s over here, and we think they're pretty fun too).
Each booklet costs TRACKS $10 to produce, but the Spring Activity Books are available for purchase on a sliding scale of $5-10 in order to remain accessible to all families. W&L sends all proceeds to TRACKS. (Please reach out to operations@tracksprogram.ca if the cost is limiting for you, or to place a bulk order.)
"TRACKS (Trent Aboriginal Cultural Knowledge and Science) is an educational program based on Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg territory. We are hosted by Trent University within the Indigenous Environmental Studies and Science Program, and operates in partnership with founding partner organization Kawartha World Issues Centre and the First Peoples House of Learning. TRACKS consists of two distinct and connected programs: Outreach & Education and Oshkwazin Indigenous Youth Leadership."
