These beautiful, plastic-free paints are made by Beam Paints, an Indigenous female-owned and operated business on Manitoulin Island. Anong Beam was raised by artists, and taught from a young age to harvest hematite pigment from the LaCloche mountains near her home in M'Chigeeng First Nation.
Each paint is handmade from lightfast pigments, tree sap, gum arabic, and Manitoulin honey, and sustainably packaged in cedar and birch offcuts sourced from an Indigenous-owned lumber corporation. Wow!! (We are in love.)
