Wild Rabbit Beads is a 22-year-old artist, activist and student from Nogojiwanong (Peterborough) Ontario. She draws on her mixed Mi'kmaq ancestry for inspiration and uses both traditional and modern designs and materials. Each item is handcrafted with love in her apartment.
Through her jewelry she explores the intersections of queerness, disability, and being mixed L’nu. Each piece is made with good medicine and intends to bring good spirits to its owner.
Wild Rabbit Beads is for ALL individuals to enjoy and wear, not just Indigenous identifying peoples.
