Mother's Day Tiered Tray Workshop - Saturday May 11th, 1pm-3pm
Mother's day is May 12th. If your mom is into tea, treats, vintage china, parties, cheese and crackers, veggies and dip, jewellery, crafting, eco-friendliness or any combination of these things, may we suggest this workshop as a lovely way for you to a) make something awesome your mom will love, or b) spend time with your mom doing something fun!
Join Peterborough vintage china collector and crafter Sarah Peers of Travelling Teacups to make your own fancy-as-heck large tiered tray by adding a little specialized hardware to turn forgotten plates into something useful and beautiful.
With a gazillion pre-drilled vintage plate choices, you will assemble your tiered stand using one small top plate, one medium plate, one large bottom plate, and one set of specialized hardware.
Sip tea, chat, and munch on delicious treats while you sift through incredible vintage finds to create the perfect colour and pattern combo.
If you bring some cash to the workshop, you can even add a teacup to the top of your stand ($5) or make additional stands ($15)!
Saturday, May 11th, 1-3pm
Watson & Lou, 383 Water Street, Downtown Peterborough
$60 per person*
*Tickets are workshop-specific and non-refundable, but can be transferred to a friend in the event of unanticipated circumstances.
