Regular price $18.00 Sale

Comfy and attractive three-layer face masks made with upcycled cotton and (very effective!), a non-woven polypropylene middle layer, and removable nose wire.

Handmade by María Lopez in Cobourg, ON.

From The Happy Beet:

Washing

Machine washable with regular laundry or hand wash (20 seconds with soap and warm water).

Hang to dry or tumble-dry low or medium.

It is recommended to remove the nose piece and wash it separately with soap and warm water for 20 seconds. (The nose piece can get bent and eventually break in the washing machine.)

Ironed on a low-heat setting if needed.

Wash before first use, between uses, and if it becomes damp.

Because of the polypropylene middle layer, avoid exposing to high heat, such as the dryer on high or an iron on high.

Wearing

Wash/sanitize your hands before and after putting on your mask, and again before and after taking off your mask.

Avoid touching the mask while wearing it (or wash/sanitize your hands if you do).

Remove mask by the ear loops/head tie.

Store used mask in a new paper bag that can be discarded after use or a reusable cloth bag that can be washed. Plastic baggies (e.g., Ziploc bags) should be avoided as they are not breathable and could promote bacteria growth, but can be used if nothing else is available.
