Impress your guests at the next potluck or dinner party by serving with a beautiful spoon carved by your very own hands, or give the gift of handmade!

Join local woodworker Bethanie Kaye to learn the fundamental, rewarding, and practical techniques of woodcarvingl! Bethanie will discuss the importance of wood selection, tool safety & variations, as well as non-toxic, eco-friendly finishes and the after care for your project.  

Each participant will design, carve and bring home a beautifully crafted wooden spoon. 

Please note that the use of sharp carving tools will be used throughout the workshop and we ask that participants come prepared to pay careful attention and work very slowly when learning to carve. You will be asked to sign a waiver.

All supplies (and snacks!) will be provided.
